These Irish cream make-up staples give the most realistic glow

These Irish cream make-up staples give the most realistic glow

I’ve yet to meet a Sculpted by Aimee Connolly product I haven’t loved deeply from the first use. Every time you think make-up maverick Aimee Connolly has peaked, the next launch comes around to replace your last favourite.

The best-selling 3-in-1 primer Beauty Base is the secret behind most gleaming Irish faces. I’ve been relying on the lightest wash of the Complete Cover Up concealer pot as much as Netflix over the last year, for a quick-fix tint on the skin to wake up my face and smooth out texture while leaving my skin looking fresh. The creamy, foolproof Lip Duos are one of the most genius lip products you’ll find – if you’re not familiar, it’s a slick little stiletto with lipstick on one end and slightly darker lip liner on the other. I know. Genius.

Yet even though all of these products are very important to me, I have another new favourite. The new Cream Luxe range is the dewiest, softest, dreamiest version of bronzer, blusher and highlighter you’ll find. Think about everything you hate about blusher, bronzer or highlighter and these have solved it. They don’t cling to dry skin. They don’t accentuate texture or pores. They’re a soft buttery texture that glides on, melts in and becomes completely at one with the skin. The bronzer in particular gives the most realistic, naturally bronzed tan of any one product I’ve ever tried, with just the lightest touch – especially on the bridge of the nose.

The result of all three is entirely real skin – no streaky stripes, no cakeyness. Just soft, relaxed, flushed summer skin that looks like it’s always in golden hour. They feel completely weightless and glide on seamlessly, whether you prefer to use fingers or the Perfecting Duo Brush, which makes blending a doddle. The lightest touch will add warmth and glow to a flat complexion for a sunlit, glowing base. I can’t see how Sculpted by Aimee Connolly are going to beat this trio.
