Team IMAGE share their summer wardrobe wishlists

Team IMAGE share their summer wardrobe wishlists

Raffia bags, seashell jewellery, cool sunglasses and colourful everything – we have summer holiday shopping on the brain. Here’s what’s at the top of the IMAGE editor’s summer wardrobe wishlists…

I may not have booked a summer holiday yet, but that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming about out what I’d wear when strolling to a sun-drenched beach or having wine and olives on a gorgeously warm evening… Linen is my go-to for summer, and I’m always drawn to basics that can be dressed up or down. – Megan Burns, Deputy Editor

This summer I’m dreaming of escaping somewhere hot. Flights are booked to the Greek island of Paros in July, where I can’t wait to bask in the baking summer heat while staying cool with the feel of pure silk against my skin, headphones with air cooling built in and more than a few pops of Grecian gold to finish it all off! – Lizzie Gore-Grimes, Editor-in-Chief

Kindred of Ireland Dove Shorts, €170

This summer, I’ll be dressing for the weather I want as opposed to the weather we get… so linen, light quilted jackets and cat eye sunglasses will be a mainstay of my wardrobe whether the sun shines or not. – Sarah Finnan, Deputy Digital Editor

This season, I’m trying to invest in summer staples that match the rest of my wardrobe but still have a unique flair, whether that’s a metallic sheen, a fun pattern or a pop of colour. My wishlist includes white Nikes and gold Birks, which can be paired with virtually everything, cool but practical sunnies, gold and peach resin earrings and a jute blend tote that can take you from beach to city. – Shayna Sappington, Senior Branded Content Writer

I’m planning to spend as much time in the sun as possible, so fun staples I can wear in lots of ways with a beachside focus is on my mind – I basically want anything that looks like summer, everything in Mango and H&M, as per, and, inexplicably, a pair of cowboy boots. – Holly O’Neill, Beauty Editor and Editor of IMAGE.ie
