Big white ballgowns aren't for everyone and Bonnie Ryan's take on wedding wear proves there are plenty of chic alternatives.
Bonnie Ryan and her long-term partner, John, got married earlier this month. Forced to postpone their original plans as a result of the pandemic, the couple decided to go ahead with a small legal ceremony at the Dublin registry office on Friday, March 4.
Tying the knot in front of just their immediate families, Bonnie assured friends that the big white wedding is still to come and the couple will celebrate their “actual wedding” again in just a few weeks’ time. “It was the most special day. Our actual wedding will be early this summer but we feel very lucky to have had a beautiful start to the celebrations yesterday. Thank you for the lovely messages,” she wrote on Instagram in response to people’s well wishes.
Opting against a long flowing gown in favour of something a little different, Bonnie donned a gorgeous Nadine Merabi suit for the legal ceremony which she paired with a Carol Kennelly hat and heels from Public Romance.
