Inside is SPF 30+++, a blend of niacinamide for brighter, more radiant skin, glycerin for deep hydration and bounce, polymers for a silky, long-wearing finish and vitamin E for antioxidant protection that improves skin immediately and over time, while leaving skin feeling and looking like skin.

I thought I’d want to use a brush, but the bounce-back applicator gives precise coverage exactly where you need it, and releases the perfect amount of product, with just one press needed for naturally sheer coverage, two for an enhanced finish and three for buildable, full coverage. You can customise coverage from a natural sheer or build to your preferred amount, leaving behind a gleaming real-skin finish, while smart polymers work to help the foundation get better by the hour and leave skin looking rejuvenated with every touch-up.

“At Sculpted, we are completely complexion-obsessed. I hope that at least one of our complexions lives in your make-up bags. We were inspired by the innovation in South Korea. We produce most of our products over there, so we’re always looking at different innovations and what’s available in stores. We noticed that cushion foundations were really on the rise. But there was two key things that were preventing people from bringing them into their beauty bags. One, the sponge that usually comes with them can be quite messy, and two, the coverage is either too light or way too thick. So we set ourselves the mission of doing it the Sculpted way. You’ll see more of an innovative mesh applicator – it is so addictive just to stick your finger in it. I highly recommend it. We really wanted it to be a completely customizable coverage, and that’s something that we’re super proud of. So essentially, you press for more, and you build your coverage as you need to. It’s packed with skincare ingredients, it’s got an SPF 30 broad spectrum in there – obviously, SPF is a bonus on top of the SPF that you should wear daily – and it’s got long-wear polymers inside. So I’d say one of the best things about this foundation is that it gives a silky finish, so it’s in between dewy and matte, but it actually gets better as you wear it over the day. Or if you touch up your face with it, because it has that silkiness to it, it almost delivers a refreshed feeling; it’s not going to set heavy on the skin. So I find it revives and reawakens where you need it, and the more you build or the more you add, the more coverage you get. So you could actually have something as light as a Hydratint if you go supernatural, or you can build it up with a brush or the applicator.”
