This stylist’s dreamy South African wedding is the ultimate bridal mood board

Love a stylish wedding? Well, this real wedding will fill your mind with inspiration, admiration and even a little bit of healthy envy

We love a good wedding here at IMAGE. Whether it’s our own, a family member, friend or complete randomer, we love everything from the dress to the table settings.

Luckily Instagram provides us with a front seat look at some of the most visually appealing and awe-inducing weddings there is across the globe. One such event is the recent wedding of stylist and personal shopper Bettina Looney.

With an Instagram following of nearly 78,000 followers, she is something of a social media star, and for good reason. The neat little squares give an in-depth look at the fashion knowledge and flair she possesses.

Think warm filters, artistic shoots, lust-worthy accessories and, of course, beautiful clothes.

London based, Ms Looney recently got married in Johannesdal, South Africa in what was a dazzling visual affair.

Wearing an off the shoulder silk tulle dress by Haute Couture designer KHYELI, she completed the look with a simple hair net which fell over her face.

The bride’s make-up was the work of Rachel Singer Clark, who explains in an Instagram post that “Bettina wanted flawless, minimal makeup with just a lashing of mascara, a swipe of nude eye colour and a soft berry matte lip.” All of the products used were by Estee Lauder.

Her bridesmaids wore floral Zimmerman dresses in pale hues of blue, pink and orange, while the groom donned a classic tuxedo by Tom Ford.

The flowers were curated by Cape Town-based florist and event designer Lush Flowers, with pale pink, light orange and white florals along with candlestick holders by Jade Paton ceramics.

Anne Mann Celebrates, a Cape Town wedding planner, was the mastermind behind the wedding.

Another aspect of the wedding focused on the bride’s close friends. The result was a photoshoot worthy of magazine pages and reminiscent of a Pucci campaign. Dressed in custom-made gowns designed by Bettina herself, the pictures are a love letter to the sisterhood.

The bride herself wore a dark camel dress by Alberta Ferretti.
