New York Fashion Week kicked off on a high yesterday, broadcasting a host of seasonal vibes to look forward to once this winter is over. The first day was filled with runways we adore, from BCBG Max Azria’s relaxed beachy collection to Jsong Way’s sophisticated looks. Here are our favourite’shows so far.

BCBG Max Azria’s does Californian

This collection is filled with boho love, from loose fits, colourful prints and a surfy take on the trousers and shorts. And hats. Lets bring back hats. Colourful and playful, this is exactly what we want to wear for a summer vacation by the sea. We also dig the princess Leia vibe they had?going?on backstage to get those gorgeous easy beach waves.

Erin Fetherston?

A light and flowy collection perfect?to get through the godawful heat you can come across in some cities of the world.

This ready-to-wear collection is love at first sight. Every single piece on the catwalk would work immaculately in next year’s summer spring wardrobe. Elegant, simple and flawless.

Creatures of Comfort and the 70s

The 70s trend carries on through this season to 2016, something we can live with. From off-the-shoulder delights to belted tops co-ordinated with trousers, the summer will be loose and free.

Jsong Way

From the fabulous beauty to the beautifully designed clothes, many things are to be loved about this show.
