Have you heard of new label Truth & Fable?

Truth & Fable is Amazon’s latest fashion offering (it launched Find last year) and is a curated edit of occasionwear, which includes bridesmaids dresses, summer party pieces and more formal eveningwear items, as well as a small collection of shoes.

The collection is well edited, offering a variety of silhouettes, colours and dress lengths. Minimalist fans will like the streamlined jumpsuits, while boho queens will adore the pretty floral-print dresses. With most items below the €150 mark, Truth & Fable is extremely competitive; similar pieces in well-known high-street occasionwear stores would cost at least double the price. I haven’t bought anything from the brand yet so I can’t confess to the quality. But I’m seriously tempted to try the midi length polka dot dress (below), which at €70 is worth taking a chance on. There’s also the comfort of knowing how easy it is to return to and be refunded by Amazon.

I love the colour of this dress as it’s a shade of green flattering to all of us. The body con fit and pretty lace overlay create a nice contrast that makes this dress feel modern and cool.
