Meghan Markle continues to delight us with her signature brand of easy chic. Classic cuts and understated neutrals are her sartorial calling card. On a recent visit to Northern Ireland, the future princess looked divine in a green fluted hem fitted skirt and exquisite velvet court shoes. Her sweater and coat were both in a similar shade of sophisticated vanilla, while a mini handheld bag finished the look without any fuss. If you want to steal her style (and who doesn’t?), read on.

I’m sure Meghan’s sweater is cashmere, but as we move towards summer, this silk-cotton blend sweater might be a better option. I like how the ribbing will add texture to your overall look.

As much as I love the skirt Meghan is wearing, I find anything with a pencil shape a little awkward to move around in, so I’d opt for a pleated skirt instead. It’s totally on trend and has a more fluid silhouette, which is more suitable for spring through to summer.

The subtle stripes of this Max Mara coat will mirror the ribbed detailing on the sweater above beautifully for a look that appears totally pulled together. This is a really expensive buy, and in cream, it’s an utter indulgence, but I couldn’t help showing it to you because it’s so special.

These blush pink velvet pumps are a really elegant option for day or evening wear. Just keep an eye on the weather… velvet does not weather terribly well in the rain. Save them for a sunny day instead.
