Atelier Versace has kicked off Couture Week and they assembled a catwalk of supermodels – Rosie Huntington-Whiteley made her runway comeback (Rosie hasn’t been seen on the runway since Balmain’s Spring/Summer 2014 show), Gigi had her first runway appearance at Couture Week and Irina Shayk, Stella Maxwell, Lara Stone and Joan Smalls all took to the runway for the Versace Spring Summer 2016 Couture Show.

Donatella called it an “athletic couture” collection – sport details included rope detailing and high-vis, combined with bold colours, cut-outs, thigh high splits and a general appreciation of the female form. “This collection is one of the most complex, sophisticated and technically accomplished we have ever created,? she said. ?It has been hard work, but also an absolute pleasure to see the talents in the atelier push themselves to create the ultimate.?
