The April Issue: Want Need Love

by Olivia Keating
26th Mar 2017

WANT NEED LOVE

UPTOWN GIRL

Magee 1866’s latest offering, inspired by the natural landscape of Donegal, sees classic tailoring and traditional silhouettes get a city-ready spin. Design and retail director Charlotte Temple says her aim was to create an all-inclusive collection that ‘married contemporary design with the brand’s rich heritage.? And while we adore the blush pink sleeveless jacket, the standout piece is a form-fitting blazer (as shown, above) nonchalantly worn over a smart white tee. Alicia blazer, €305 at magee1866.com. ?

VICTORIA BECKHAM X TARGET

This collaboration has been the talking point in the office since last December (even in the accounts department – yes, really!). From tops, dresses and skirts to trousers, shorts and accessories, we’ll have to start co-ordinating our outfits come April 9 when the collection goes on sale at target.com. Prices range from €6-?67.

TAKING FLIGHT

To avoid ruffling any sartorial feathers this spring, look to Tibi’s playful prints, Mary Katrantzou’s embroidered doves or Stella Jean’s shoulder-grazing companions for inspiration. See more from Want Need Love in the April issue of IMAGE magazine, on shelves nationwide now.?
