Celebrity style spotted at Coachella always sets the tone for our own looming festival season, so here are five looks to take inspiration from this time round.

Though the climate of a Californian desert may differ slightly from the waterlogged Irish fields we’ll be spending festival season in this summer, Coachella is the precursor to music festivals across the globe, and the style most definitely informs the trends we’ll be seeing over the next couple of months.

Long since been recognised as the Influencer Olympics, making your way (or being brought along by a brand) to Coachella is something of a status symbol within the world of the social media famous.

Once upon a time, Coachella was categorised by celebrities and A-listers doing the absolute most, but since it returned from its Covid hiatus, festival goers have been opting for more subdued, understated and — wait for it — wearable looks.

Though the High Priestess of festival fashion (Vanessa Hudgens, obviously) was notably absent, a number of well-known names shared snaps of their laidback looks from various corners of the event. From oversized shirts and the quintessential Coachella item: cowboy boots, to low rise trousers and micro minis, here are some pieces to shop ahead of Irish festival season…
