Butter yellow: Spring’s hottest colour trend

We've seen many colour trends come and go over the past few months – from sensual red to chocolate brown and soft khaki. The latest? Butter yellow.

I love eating butter, I didn’t think I’d love wearing it but spring’s latest colour trend has me all kinds of excited.

While brighter, highlighter shades of yellow are undeniably hard to wear, this more pared-back tone is a real crowd-pleaser. Light enough to pass as neutral, it’s not far from ecru making it easier to slot into your existing wardrobe. Subtle yet delicious, it still delivers a sartorial punch and is very spring-friendly.
