We’re fond of a quirky time-lapse video here at IMAGE. From weddings to lingerie, beauty and fashion, we’ve seen many clips that have eloquently charted these varied trends through the years. However, let no one suggest that we don’t devote similar attention to the men because this evening, it’s the male haircut that has piqued our interest.

Men can have plenty of fun with their hair, as this clip shows (they’ve always been partial to keeping on top of the latest trends). The video takes us through 100 years of men’s hair and grooming trends in just over two minutes. From the Mad Men-esque cut to the Kurt Cobain-type style of the 90s, men’s grooming has proved to be very diverse in times gone by.

The video was made by WatchCut, in partnership with the Movember Foundation (note the variations of mustache), a hugely worthy cause.
