These Are The Polishes You Need For On-Trend Summer Nails

These Are The Polishes You Need For On-Trend Summer Nails

As someone who isn’t hugely into fashion, what I do take pride and pleasure in are the little details that accentuate what I’m wearing. So, I like my lipstick to match my shoes, I love having my eyebrows groomed and I’m obsessed with changing my nails. Is it because I’m constantly looking at my nails while typing? Likely, but it’s also because taking the time and effort to make sure my fingertips are colourful lifts my mood; I feel very put together and happy glancing’down at flicks of colour.

And in summer, it’s nice to swap the warm tones of winter for the pastel brights and subtle nude shades associated with?the longer, brighter days.

Here’s our pick of the newest on-trend nail shades and ranges worth packing in your holiday suitcase.

Essie’s Wild?Nudes Collection

Essie’s new wild nudes collection features nine, gorgeous nude nail polishes, all for a modern take on a neutral palette for your nails. Stay stripped-down-yet-chic with any of the natural shades, based on four key shades to cover all bases. My favourite of the collection, Bare With Me (second from the top) is a creamy?apricot toned polish that is the perfect barely-there summer hue for your fingertips. Approx. €9.99 each

CND Rhythm & Heat Collection

Art deco design and endless beaches set the scene for the Rhythm & Heat Collection from CND. Think bright, tropical hues and colours in SHELLAC (with over 14 days wear) or VINYLUX (with seven-day, chip-resistant wear), one for those embracing the brighter sides of summer. Approx. €11.95 each

Catrice ICON Nails Gel Lacquer

The best thing about the new Catrice nail collection isn’t the 45-shade selection and pricing (it doesn’t get much better than less than??3 per bottle) but the formula; it lasts up to seven days without a top coat. The nail polishes, which are enriched with acai oil, have a high-shine finish and the new professional brush allows for a’simple and accurate application. Approx. €2.95 ?each

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Collection

With over 50 shades to choose from in every bright, pastel colour you can think of, Sally Hansen’s Miracle Gel collection not only has your nails covered but its formula requires only natural light to help it set.?In just two easy steps you get up to 14 days colour and shine. And it’s more chip-resistant than regular nail polish. You simply apply the colour, leave to set for five minutes then apply the top coat letting natural?light do the rest. Perfect for gals on the go. Approx. €8.99 each
