IT Cosmetics is coming to Ireland, exclusively at Arnotts

Once more for the beauty lovers in the back! IT Cosmetics will be opening in Ireland on Thursday,  26th July in Arnotts Beauty Hall.

With 14 million hits on YouTube and 1 million Instagram followers, IT Cosmetics have a veritable cult following. Founded with leading plastic surgeons and dermatologists, IT Cosmetics was first created in 2008 by TV news anchor and report Jamie Kern Lima. She suffered from hereditary rosacea and hyperpigmentation and had a really hard time trying to cover it up.

She partnered with plastic surgeons and dermatologists and founded IT Cosmetics (IT stands for Innovative Technology) to create cruelty-free make-up and skincare products that are clinically proven to improve the skin, and let the skin be visible at the same time. Two years after launching the brand, Jamie went on air at QVC with Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and in 10 minutes, it sold out completely.

The most popular product from the range is the colour correcting and full coverage CC+ Cream, developed with plastic surgeons. Offering hydration, broad spectrum physical SPF 50+, ingredients including peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins, it’s an all-in-one multitasker for an even coverage that doesn’t crease. Popular products include the Superhero Mascara, Bye Bye Under Eye Concealer and Bye Bye Redness Correcting Concealer.

You might recognise founder Jamie Kern Lima’s name. In 2016, IT Cosmetics was acquired by L’Oréal, making Jamie the first woman to hold a CEO title in L’Oréal’s 100+ year history. L’Oréal, paid $1.2 billion in cash for it in August 2016. Take a moment to take that in. $1.2 billion. In. Cash. Forbes have named Jamie to the Most Successful Self-Made Women list, she’s been named one of Goldman Sachs’ 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs and she was listed in WWD’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Beauty.

See in the queue next Thursday!
