Bold Is Beautiful: Get Your Skates On And Help Benefit Empower Women

Every year, around the world, for the month of May, Benefit Cosmetics work to support local charities. With their philanthropy project, Bold is Beautiful, Benefit Cosmetics give 100% of the proceeds from all Benefit brow wax’s during the month of May to local charities. Globally, Bold is Beautiful has raised over 11 million dollars in 9 countries for women.

The money they have raised so far has supported afterschool projects for school-aged girls, given refuge to women who are victims of domestic violence, built homes for single mothers and their families and lots more. This year, Benefit in Ireland are partnering with two Irish charities doing mammoth work for women – Daisyhouse and Look Good Feel Better. 

Look Good Feel Better have the noble purpose of helping women with the visible side effects of cancer treatment to face the day with an armour of make-up with their confidence-boosting, practical make-up workshops taught by experienced beauty advisors in hospitals across Ireland. Beneficiaries say that the charity helped them regain a sense of control and normality at a time when diagnosis and treatment had taken over their lives.

Daisyhouse works tirelessly in Ireland to provide secure affordable high quality supported accommodation to homeless women and to provide them with the skills to move to independent living. Since 2016, Daisyhouse has been one of the two beneficiary charities of the Benefit Bold is Beautiful campaign. Funds raised have directly contributed to instrumental social and educational activities and programmes to empower the women supported in their move towards independent living.

Of course, Benefit don’t do anything by half, so every year, Bold is Beautiful launches with fun-filled activities and treats.
