5 Of The Best Tinted Moisturisers

5 Of The Best Tinted Moisturisers

We’re at that odd time of year where it’s still jacket weather but oddly humid, which means it’s time to alter our makeup for the new season. Rather than letting your make-up?cover every pore, it’s about naturally enhancing the beautiful features God gave you with something lighter. This all starts with a base and in this ever-changing humidity, that means letting your skin shine through -without actual oily shine. Many are gearing up for holiday season and will be looking for a fluid promising a dewy glow as opposed to one that will cover the skin like a blank canvas. The best way to do this is via a tinted moisturiser, CC or BB cream (all in the same family, their function is to even skin tone and hydrate – it’s simply a case of finding the right product for your skin’s needs). Here are five we love:

Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser, €48

If you have oil-prone skin, you’ll love this old reliable. The lightweight formula makes application a breeze, and the product doesn’t cause breakouts for acne-prone skin (a major plus). Think coverage without clogging the pores. The shades are flattering and skin looks real as opposed to a sheen effect.?

Estee Lauder Double Wear All Day Glow BB Cream, €38

Technically a BB cream, this is better than a tinted moisturiser and deserves a place on our list. This lightweight, oil-free BB cream stays put for hours and adds a luminous glow to the skin. It’s pricey, but the high-factor SPF 30 and the fact that it looks as good as a foundation (minus the heavy coverage) means you’re getting your money’s worth.

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, €38

Great for darker skin tones, this one delivers excellent coverage and colour, albeit without the treatment benefits of some of the others on our list. If you’re looking for a tint that?promises a little more than that, Nars is the one for you.

Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturiser, €37.50

Bobbi Brown

This one moisturises, protects and provides coverage in one swoop. Particularly beneficial for very dry skin.

NYX Tinted Moisturiser, €6.70

Oil-free, easy-to-blend and with subtle?coverage,?this brilliant budget buy is ideal skin that may be prone to break outs.
