Red lips are everywhere at the moment. Tis the season for red carpets, after all. However, we loved how Lancome made up Kate Winslet for the BAFTAs last Sunday. For some reason it looked fresh and alive, rather than permanently sultry ingenue. Brava to all, especially Lisa Eldridge who was the MUA-in-chief.
Saoirse Ronan’s dress didn’t light up our readers’ comments, but her beauty look for the BAFTAs got a lot of respect and Instagram acclaim. Playful liner and pink lips really suit this talented young woman.
Riley Keough’s ombre hair is what I want my spirit animal to be. That sounds weird, but I’m just super impressed by her locks and can’t help but express my admiration.
Another BAFTA hit was Dakota Johnson’s scarlet lady-ing. She even inspired us to write a few short odes to red lipsticks we love!
Thought this Taylor Swift bob would prompt a more divisive backlash. It didn’t! Well done Taylor on always having well-done hair.
