Aldi’s wine and prosecco-themed advent calendars are back

With everything so up in the air, we can be thankful that at least some aspects of the impending festive season remain the same. On that note, Aldi has announced the release of their annual alcohol-themed advent calendar (plus a new variation), which prove popular every year 


Yep, one for all the adults out there, Aldi is bringing back its Wine Advent Calendar, as well as a brand new Sparkling Advent Calendar!

On Sunday, November 1st, Aldi Ireland will launch its wine-filled advent calendar for Christmas 2020. Presented in a  decorated box, the 24 doors reveal rather special, alcoholic treats. In total, you’ll find mini bottles of 10 white wines (5 x still, 5 x sparkling), 8 red wines and 6 rosé (3 still, 3 sparkling), for under €70.

Wine Advent Calendar, €68.85  

For those who’d rather treat themselves to some bubbles, Aldi’s new Sparkling Advent Calendar for 2020 will go down a treat. As with the wine advent calendar, each of the 24 doors open to reveal a mini bottle of 8 Sparkling Pinot Grigio, 8 Sparkling Rosé and 8 Prosecco bottles. This one is priced just under €80.
