3 Wexford homes close to the sea for under €200,000

If you’ve always dreamed of having the beach at your doorstep, one of these homes could be perfect for you.

Even when the sun is nowhere in sight, there’s an undeniable pull about the Irish coastline. The sea can be a different shade every day, from deep blue to wintry grey, and its beauty tempts many people to make their homes close to it.

If you’ve always wanted to live on the coast, Wexford is a great choice, with its long stretches of sandy beaches, while it is still well-connected to other parts of the country, such as Dublin and Cork.

These three houses are all positioned close to the sea, and are on the market for €200,000 or under.

Just minutes from the long, sandy Rosslare Beach, perfect for seaside walks, this three-bed home is in good condition. It also has two bathrooms, an open-plan living and dining space, and a rear sun room.

There is a small back garden, and while some of the decor may require an update, it wouldn’t be difficult to refresh it.

2 Bracken Hill, Blackwater, €200,000

Situated close to Blackwater village and sandy beaches at Ballyconnigar, this home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, meaning it would be suitable for anyone from a family, to those looking for a first home, to downsizers.

An open plan kitchen, living and dining space is especially bright, with double doors that lead out to the rear garden. There is an additional, separate living room and one bedroom on the ground floor, with the two remaining bedrooms on the first floor.

The back garden has a large patio area for outdoor dining, as well as lawn and a garden shed for storage.
