attends the 70th EE British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) at Royal Albert Hall on February 12, 2017 in London, England.
London got their?chance to shine as the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards took place this evening at the Royal Opera House with the commendable Stephen Fry taking the hosting reins as per usual. Awards season has taken on a different vein this year; actors no longer take to the podium to merely collect an award for excelling in their craft but also use it as a political platform to make plain their views as Trump thunders his way to an uneasy, dark future.
