The Irish Hospice Foundation’s 2017 Leopardstown Race Day: Social Pics

Leopardstown Racecourse was awash with style and smiles as more than 600 guests gathered for the Irish Hospice Foundation’s 2017 Race Day.

RTÉ’s Tracy Piggott acted as MC, while Brendan McArdle gave the crowd some excellent tips for each of the five races. The day started with a wine and prosecco reception across the two floors of the Leopardstown Pavilion. After a delicious three-course lunch was served, Irish Hospice Foundation CEO Sharon Foley spoke passionately about how the money raised will support the foundation’s much-needed work across Ireland. In just three years, the Race Day has raised over €195,000 for the Irish Hospice Foundation’s Nurses for Night Care Service; this free nationwide service supports people with illnesses other than cancer to die at home in comfort and with dignity surrounded by their loved ones.
