Sparks fly and complications ensue because teenagers. The writing is fabulous and the plot not at all frothy - family illness and important decisions about adulthood abound alongside all the emotions and teenage yearning. The only downside to this novel is that you'll have a girl dreaming of moving to Paris on your hands.
