Watch: Kristen Stewart in drag, anyone?

Watch: Kristen Stewart in drag, anyone?

This morning we’ve been busy watching Jenny Lewis‘ latest music video ‘Just One Of The Guys‘ on repeat. Not because we’re massive Jenny Lewis enthusiasts, but rather because she’s enlisted the help of Kristen Stewart, Brie Larson and Anne Hathaway to shimmy around the background, dressed in drag, whilst lip syncing along to some of the very poignant lyrics. Beyonce‘s ‘If I Were A Boy’ could have done with a bit of this.

We’ve always known that Anne Hathaway’s game for pretty much anything – her SNL appearances are really rather funny, though we’ll move swiftly past her attempt at presenting the Oscars alongside James Franco – but who knew K-Stew had quite so much pzazz? Normally, you’d think you had struck gold if you’d managed to squeeze a smile out of her (I’ve interviewed her, she’s a tough nut to crack) but here she is, having the time of her life getting jiggy (with quite an impressive moustache, we might add) for Jenny Lewis.

Perhaps that red hair update has given her a whole new lease of life.

Though the video appears to be a whole lot of fun, the song itself explores the very real issue of women getting older and the various set of expectations that can be placed upon them. What do you make of the video? Does the song resonate with you?
