Watch: Beyonc? Performs ?Drunk In Love? Duet With Ed Sheeran

We finish off your weekend with this striking duet between two megastars of the moment, Beyonc? and Ed Sheeran. When you get the opportunity to duet with Queen B for a second time, it is surely a sign that you’ve officially made it. To be fair, Sheeran is a major success all on his own, but something tells us that joining the iconic performer on stage for a stirring rendition of Drunk in Love won’t do his career one bit of harm.

Saturday night marked the return of the Global Citizen Festival, an annual event in New York City’s Central Park that aims to get ordinary people involved in extraordinary causes like extreme poverty and inequality around the world. Beyonc? stole the show and performed for a solid hour before inviting possibly the nicest guy in the music business on stage to sing with her. The result is a stripped-down version of the now classic tune that works surprisingly well and gets better with repeated listening. Mrs Carter added that she ‘respected [Sheeran] so much,” which is a pretty fine compliment to receive. This isn’t the first time the pair have performed together; they also teamed up for a special performance at a Stevie Wonder: Songs In the Key of Life Grammy event earlier this year.

Watch their rendition of Drunk In Love below:

What do you make of the duet?
