Hilarious videos to make you laugh because, January.

January isn’t the easiest of months, there’s no doubt about that. But in an attempt to turn national frowns upside-down, we’ve picked out five hilarious videos that have been making us howl in delight, slap our thighs, ruin our makeup with tears of laughter and generally cause a raucous in the office since we came back after the Christmas holidays.

Note: Do not watch if within earshot of your boss, your muffled laughter will be a sure sign you are doing zero work.

1. Foil, Arms & Hog – Last Minute Holiday Panic

I can’t tell you how many aunts, uncles, cousins, and vague acquaintances that I’ve shown this video to… And I’ve honestly yet to meet a person who didn’t let out a hearty belly laugh at some point throughout it. These boys hit the comedy nail on the head every time, and their ability to poke fun at, and meticulously represent the Irish experience, is incredible. Be warned, however, their videos are like Pringles, once you pop you just can’t stop.

3. My Life For Ireland (short film)

At just under 14 mins in length, this is a longer watch by online standards, but trust me when I say it’s worth the time investment. Telling the story of an unfortunate young rebel on Easter weekend who finds himself in a spot of trouble in a rural Irish town, the portrayal of the various local characters is hilarious, whilst the quips and slapstick humour is a treat. 4. The Secret Life of Kids Empathy Test

*Ahh* The Secret Life of Kids – giving us endless insight into society and how adorable brains work, all whilst lending a bucket-load of laughs along the way. This excerpt, in particular, is a gas one for anyone who has ever felt the wrath of a little boy’s unmoderated honesty or been touched by a little girl’s attempt to protect your feelings.
