Truly Gifted: Mark Rogers Of Benefit

While their lives look frantic on Snapchat, exotic on Instagram, and they always seem to be doing something in the public eye, being successful involves more than just an enviable social profile. Melanie Morris meets Mark Rogers

HOBBIES/INTERESTS

I’m into fitness; I run, and can proudly say I completed the London Marathon in 2014. I’m a beauty junkie (thank goodness, it takes up most of my life), I love meeting new people and I’m an avid gin and tonic fan.

WHAT DO YOU USE YOUR PHONE FOR MOST?

Snapchat. It’s fair to say I’m mildly addicted. Work never stops, so I’m always tapping away at emails, and then WhatsApp – it’s the only time I get to chat to friends.

WHAT?S MOST IMPORTANT IN A PHONE, AND WHY?

The camera is super-important; I travel and get first previews of Benefit’s latest products, so I need clear, crisp photos. I’m seriously impressed with the camera on the Samsung Galaxy S7, especially the ‘selfie? mode!

ANY APP YOU LOVE THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?

I adore Snapseed to amp up the drama for Instagram pics.

BEST CHRISTMAS PRESSIE EVER?

My first karaoke machine, although I am pretty sure my parents quickly regretted that!

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO FIND UNDER THE TREE THIS YEAR?

Oh, tough one… can I pick two things? The biggest, most amazing new Samsung TV – possibly the latest range, the K Series – so I can really enjoy my rare downtime.

WHAT WILL YOU REMEMBER 2016 FOR?

Two trips to Las Vegas to celebrate Benefit’s Year of the Brow.
