The Rock And His Wife Announce Baby News

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is our favourite wrestler/actor, who just happens to be the biggest softie ever. When he’s not busy with his movie star life, he’s doing things like helping others, rescuing and adopting puppies and spreading the word about why we should always keep an eye on our pets. He is just seems a really genuine kinda guy.

And that’s why we couldn’t be happier for him. He took to Instagram this evening to announce (in the loveliest way), that he and his wife, Lauren Hashian, are expecting a baby girl. Just look how delighted they are:

The Fast & Furious star is already dad to 14-year-old daughter, Simone, but he sounds (and looks) overjoyed to be expanding his family. He family man recently said that his home life was of the utmost importance to him: ?With all the cool s?t and success that I’ve been lucky enough to get? That doesn’t happen unless the home life is solid,? Johnson said.

The positive news comes a few weeks after the 43-year-old used his social media accounts to express his heartache at having to put his newly rescued puppy down after he accidentally ate a poisonous wild mushroom.

We’re glad things are looking up for the happy couple, and we expect to see many more adorable baby-type snaps in the months to come, because how cute will the pictures be? The Rock is HUGE, his newborn daughter will be teeny, and’moments such as that hurt our ovaries in the best way.
