The New Anti-Diet Diet

Diets come and go, but according to this new book all anyone really needs is plenty of exercise, regular sleep and a different approach to how they view and consume food.? It seems pretty basic but learning to eat properly and changing your eating habits is apparently one of the toughest things to do.

Joy McCarthy’s new book, Joyous Health: Eat and Live Well Without Dieting breaks down the basics of how to create healthy meals by choosing the right ingredients in order to live a joyful life. The book contains lots of interesting information about nutrition, the difference between chia and flax seeds as well as a ton of delicious-sounding recipes. It’s the new anti-diet, diet.

Health fanatics may know Joy McCarthy as the founder of the popular healthy living blog,?Joyous Health. She is also the aptly-named co-founder of Eat Well Feel Well, Toronto’s longest-running integrated yoga and holistic nutrition program and she contributes her health expertise to many North American publications, television and radio programmes. Plus she looks exceptionally, well, joyous. ?She must know what she’s talking about!
