Celebrities and fans gathered at Cineworld, Parnell Square, last night for the eagerly awaiting premier of Anthropoid, starring the delectable Jamie Dornan and Cillian Murphy.

The movie is based on the extraordinary true story of the World War II operation to assassinate Nazi commanding officer Reinhard Heydrich. Heydrich was the Reich’s third in command after Hitler and Himmler; he was the main architect behind the Final Solution and the leader of Nazi forces in Czechoslovakia. Nicknamed ?The Butcher of Prague,? his reign of terror and brutality prompted Czech authorities in London to hatch a top-secret mission, codenamed ?Operation Anthropoid,? which would change history forever. Alongside Murphy and Dornan, Anthropoid stars Toby Jones, Charlotte LeBon, Harry Lloyd, Bill Milner Se?n Mahon and Sam Keeley.

Anthropoid opens at cinemas nationwide in Ireland and UK on Friday, September 9th, 2016. Running time is 119mins and is suitable for 15+.
