Yesterday evening we returned to the fabulous Westbury Hotel for our second installment of the Young Businesswomen’s?Forum. We had a full house and as guests arrived they were welcomed with a glass of Veuve Clicquot paired with delicious canap’s.

Editor-in-chief Melanie Morris welcomed everyone and introduced our first panelist, Ruth Hetherington, CEO and creator of the hugely successful brand, Miss Fit Skinny Tea. Ruth shared with us the ideas behind the laxative-free?Teatox. Next up to join the ladies was Nicki Hoyne founder of My Shining Armour. Nicki knew from a young age she wanted to get into the business world and was inspired by the quote ‘The job I wanted didn’t exist, so I made it for myself’. Last up in the hot seat to share her career story was Amy Buckeridge, managing director of PR agency, The Publicity Loft. Amy spoke about how she bounced back from bad business decisions and that how she is only as good as the team she works with.

On the night we had gifts galore?for everyone from My Shining Armour, Miss Fit Skinny Tea, Burts Bees, MOXI Loves, Note Cosmetics, Kiss iEnvy Lashes and Percy Pigs from Marks & Spencer. Three very lucky ladies went home with a Benefit beauty hamper worth over €150 for their creative tweets.
