Last night, we held our Digital Masterclass at The Gibson Hotel in Dublin. For our sold out event?everyone was eager?to hear all about the new rules of social media from our panelists. We had Maryrose Lyons, Social Media Strategist and Founder of Brightspark Consulting, as our moderator for the evening. We had Paul Dunphy, Social Media Curator and Consultant; Kathryn Mason, founder of Kathryn Mason | PR & Marketing and also had blogger, journalist & social influencer, Rosemary Mac Cabe join our panel.

We began our evening with a few opening words from Editor-in-Chief, Melanie Morris and then we were straight into the action with Maryrose and all of our panelists. They covered everything social media related; with particular focus on how to make it a business and how to make money from it. The conversation?flowed between all the panelists and all of our guests learned some invaluable intel on this new world of digital media.

After an in-depth Q&A section with the audience; one of our panelists, Paul Dunphy, rounded off the evening with a raffle of some fabulous prizes. A few lucky winners went away with some gorgeous fragrances from Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein & Bottega Veneta; while another attendee won a dinner for two in the Gibson Hotel.

On top of all of that, all of our attendees went away with a luxury gift bag full of treats from NUXE, Cocoa Brown and Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Medley (perfect for World Chocolate Day!). We also had an extra gift for the men who attended, with a lovely travel set from NUXE!

Everyone left with a new outlook on how to manage their social channels, what rules to follow and most importantly, how to make a business from it!
