Sligo Design Week 2015
Sligo is shaping up for its Design Festival with workshops, talks and exhibitions galore, running until this Friday, November 6. There’s no better time to head west…
If you’re a budding craftsperson, then this is certainly the festival for you, with workshops and talks not just promoting established makers but also training the next generation on social media and creative entrepreneurship with tips from local experts.

This takes you to the studios of some of the county’s top craftspeople including woodturner Matt Jones, ceramicist Lynda Gault and the O’Riain Pottery Studio. With a free lunch to boot, this is shaping up to be a perfect way to spend a Sunday.
