Prince Harry Talks About Those Pictures

Prince Harry Talks About Those Pictures

We’re big Prince Harry fangirls here in IMAGE.ie – although after last Friday’s Toy Show, Ed Sheeran might have supplanted Mr. Windsor in our English Gingers To Whom We Could See Ourselves Happily Married list.

The past few years have seen Prince William’s brother become a weird sort of celebrity – attracting both serious respect from the media, but then having his private life hounded in the tabloids. He’s a pretty good public citizen, having completed two army tours in Afghanistan. His post-army career has seen him devote his energy to servicemen charities.?Walking With the Wounded is one particular charity that he supports. His time in the army was eye-opening. In an interview with?Man of the World magazine he said??I saw some horrendous things. The tragic injuries and deaths of local people from roadside bombs, some of whom were children; coalition forces lying on the battlefield? To see young lads – much younger than me – wrapped in plastic and missing limbs with hundreds of tubes coming out of them was something I never prepared myself for.”

In August 2012 however, he hit the headlines in a far more scandalous way after images of him ‘cavorting’ naked in a Las Vegas hotel room with a bunch of women and his army pals were leaked.?In the same interview, he broached the controversy, summing the incident up??a classic?case of me being too much army and not enough prince. It’s a simple case of that.?

While that may be one of out favourite?quotes?of 2014, we’re not too sure about the message Harry is trying to broadcast. Is being such a ‘lad’ acceptable in the army? Can’t princes have?consensual?naked fun on their holidays in Las Vegas? Ever since?the?incident, Prince Harry has been on good behaviour, although we like to put that down to his sister-in-law Kate, because we don’t know either of these?personalities?but we do read a lot of the Daily Mail. In the past few years, Harry has spent a lot of time with his brother and Kate, and will reportedly be spending Christmas with the growing family, Prince George included. After a quick?visit?to the Queen at her house in Sandringham, the younger generation will be retiring to Anmer Hall in Norfolk, where Kate and William have a house.

Now the only question that remains is are they a goose or turkey family?
