Lupita Nyong?o played a stellar awards season – both fashion and winning the actual awards wise – and her powder blue Prada was true to the style personality we’ve all come to know and love these past few weeks. Jennifer Garner isn’t a red carpet regular these days so it’s only appropriate that she donned some American royalty for the night. Her fringed Oscar De La Renta number was fun and one of many metallic numbers that stalked the ceremony. Angelina Jolie wore Elie Saab and Cate Blanchett collected the Best Actress in Armani Priv ?. Emma Watson went for a verging on casual cool with a simple Vera Wang dress while Meryl kept to monochrome in Lanvin. Sally Hawkins of Blue Jasmine looked very cute in Valentino Couture and everyone’s new favourite antipode Margot Robbie teamed her new brunette locks with a sexy black Saint Laurent dress.

Last night’s real risktakers were the men. Pharrell wore shorts because he’s Pharrell while Jared Leto wore white Saint Laurent and his Jesus hair. Bradley Cooper and Michael Fassbender stuck to the classic tuxedo and wore Tom Ford. Fassbender’s date was his mother Adele, just in case you needed another reason to fancy him.

However I think we can agree on a standing ovation for Ms. Kate Hudson and that Atelier Versace gown. Stunning.
