Lanc?me celebrates 80th Birthday in Paris

I’m not sure what wasn’t happening on July 7^th this year, but whatever it wasn’t, it meant that all of Lanc’me’s beauty ambassadresses were available to fly to Paris and walk the pink carpet on what was one (grand) mother of an 80^th birthday party.

The original Lanc’me ?face?, legendary actress Isabella Rossellini acted as MC as she welcomed the roll call of seven iconic women, all of whom represent the beauty house. Daria Werbowy, Alma Jodorowsky, Lily Collins, Lupita Nyong?o, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz and Julia Roberts took to the stage, each as glamourous and their names suggest.

As the guests were drowned in champagne, glitter, falling stars and miniature birthday cakes, it really couldn’t get much more extravagant. And then Kylie Mingoue took to the stage to perform five classics. The place erupted, especially when she proposed a toast and lead guests in a rousing chorus of ?Happy Birthday To You.?

As far as 80-year-old’s birthday parties go, Madame Lanc’me will be a hard dame to beat.
