Kate Beckinsale And Husband End Their 11-Year Marriage

We’ve only just gotten over the reportedly controversial end to Gwen and Gavin’s parting of ways, and now the land of celebrity reports that another seemingly solid couple has called it a day.

According to People, actress Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman have reportedly separated following 11 years of marriage.

The 42-year-old actress and the 42-year-old director separated several months ago and according to sources ?there has been no drama? as that is ?just not Kate’s style.? News of the separation was more or less confirmed when Wiseman was recently snapped arm-in-arm with a young model sans wedding ring.

The pair met almost 15 years ago when Beckinsale was filming noir vampire flick Underworld, which Wiseman directed. Their union was somewhat tempered by rumours that they got together while the actress was still officially with her long-term partner, fellow actor Michael Sheen (they never married but had 16-year-old daughter, Lily together). Nevertheless, Wiseman married his star soon after, and until now, we thought they would be one couple?to make it.

Reports are suggesting that their parting is amicable and that they simply grew apart due?to their hectic schedules. Beckinsale is currently filming Underworld 5 in Prague while Wiseman is committed to other projects in L.A.

They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there,? the source said. ?They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart.?[Wiseman’s] primary concern in all of this is Lily. He loves his stepdaughter and is there for her.?

The whole thing seems very mature, as far as Hollywood splits go.?Let’s hope it stays that way?
