This Northern Irish hotel’s Christmas ad is giving John Lewis a run for its money

Loving the Christmas ads so far? Better add this one by Hastings Hotel to your list

Every year, the UK and Ireland waits with bated breath for the John Lewis Christmas ad to drop on our screens. Heartwarming, uplifting and funny, it’s all we want from a Christmas ad. But there are plenty of other contenders too — and this latest offering from a Northern Irish hotel is giving John Lewis a run for its money.

Hastings Hotels, which has hotels across Northern Ireland, has launched their ‘Doorman and a Duck’ advert, which sees a little duckling make himself at home at Belfast’s Europa Hotel for the holidays.

“The new ad represents the true sentimentality of the festive season and we hope people will fall in love with ‘The Doorman and the Duck’ just as much as we have,” said Julie Hastings, Marketing Director of Hastings Hotels.

To celebrate ‘The Doorman and the Duck’, Hastings Hotels has launched a Black Friday deal too.

Voted Ireland’s leading luxury hotel group in 2019, they are treating everyone to a bottle of wine or bubbles per transaction, when you spend £100 or more on Hastings Hotels Gift Cards.

A November offer of a £10 voucher for every £100 you spend on a Hastings Hotels Gift Card also still applies, with the card redeemable on any experience across all seven hotels, with no expiry date.
