Introducing Smart Casual – the IMAGE style podcast coming soon to your earphones

It’s no secret that we’re a big fan of podcasts here at IMAGE. From our biweekly wine chats with Sophie and Rhona on The Spill, to our monthly PodClubs, when podcasts are involved, we’re all ears. We wanted to find a way to blend our love of podcasting with IMAGE’s extensive history in style and fashion. And what we came up with was Smart Casual – IMAGE’s first fashion podcast, in collaboration with Kildare Village, dealing with personal style in a way that speaks to you.

While fashion is always thought of as being visual, we at IMAGE think it’s much more than that. Personal style is about how clothes make you feel, how they impact the world and how they express who you are. There’s a lot to talk about when it comes to personal style and our two Smart Casual hosts are up for the challenge.

Smart Casual will be hosted by none other than IMAGE Fashion Director Marie Kelly and IMAGE Digital Leader Niamh O’Donoghue. These two have been working together on the meaning of personal style for years, and their unique ’20 something vs 40-something’ dynamic is exactly what they’ll be bringing to the airwaves.

Marie and Niamh will discuss the world’s biggest fashion stories; how to curate your style at any age; high fashion; street style; the meaning of personal fashion, and so much more. Not only that, but our hosts will also speak to a guest star every episode about what their personal style means to them – and we’ve got some big names in mind…

We can’t wait to reveal all with our very first episode of Smart Casual launching in just a few weeks’ time. Until then, maybe a spot of shopping will pass the time…
