As you may have noticed, we’ve been busy lately. IMAGE.ie is looking as good as ever (in our humble opinion) and we can sense the growing excitement; our Businesswoman of the Year awards 2017 campaign is in full swing as we gear up to celebrate inspiring and amazing women in the world of business. #IMAGEinspires is a celebration of hardworking women, the type of everyday heroines who make up our readership, and this year’s shortlist of nominees. Read all about them here. While we’re getting ready for the awards ceremony on November 20th, we’ve decided to spread the can-do attitude and rounded up some quotes that have emulated the can-do attitude of all our nominees. It’s amazing what the right words – stuck on your Instagram feed, tucked in your notebook, pinned on your Pinterest board or said by the mentor you admire – can do to motivate anyone on their way to smashing that glass ceiling.

We’re sourcing ambition from the likes of Opera Winfrey and Lady Gaga, encouraging us to embrace strength and accept the flaws that make us who we are. And from Michelle Obama‘s mantra that defied the sceptics and Ariana Huffington‘s refreshing views of failure – that there would be no success without it – we’re taking a leaf out of their books and putting our best selves and most confident foot forward.

Get pinning, sharing, reading, and tell us your favourite quotes using the hashtag #IMAGEinspires and #BWOTY17 and don’t forget to buy tickets to what will be an inspirational evening.
