We have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official Irish visit photos

Royal visit fever took hold of Dublin for the last two days as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex came to Ireland for an official state visit.

Day one began with Prince Harry and Meghan meeting with Taoiseach Leo Varadker, and ended with a Summer Party at Áras a Úachtaráin where they met with writer and advocate Sinead Burke and Irish rugby legend Brian O’ Driscoll. On day two of their tour, the royal couple met with President Michael D. Higgins, wife Sabina Coyne and their Bernese Mountain dogs, Bród and Sióda, at the Áras. Here, both the Duke and Duchess rang the Peace Bell which was designed to mark the 10th anniversary of the Belfast Agreement.

The newlyweds then paid a visit to Croke Park where they met the Gaelic footballers of the future and shortly after, took a tour of Trinity College where they visited the Book of Kells. From there, the couple moved to the Famine Memorial at Custom House Quay and the EPIC Irish Emigration Museum.

Finally, they met with the computer coders of the future from Coderjo , the global network of free computer programming clubs for young people which was launched in County Cork. Over the course of the two days, the Duchess wore designs from Roland Mouret, Emelia Wickstead, and Givenchy. Although surprisingly, she did not wear an Irish designer, her green Givenchy two-piece which she wore upon landing was a fitting tribute to our Emerald Isle.
