Extra tickets for Westlife will go on sale next week

If you’ve missed out on tickets for the biggest Irish show of the year, you might be in luck — a batch of extra tickets will go on sale next week for Westlife’s two dates at Croke Park this summer.

The announcement of the band’s comeback last October sparked a nationwide frenzy, with tickets for their July dates (Friday 5 and Saturday 6) snapped up in minutes.

Now, a final batch of GAA extra demand tickets are set to be released, with tickets going on sale this Tuesday, February 12 at 9 am.

Westlife have sold over 55 million records worldwide, and as a live act, have sold five million concert tickets worldwide. They still hold the record for the most shows played at The SSE Arena at Wembley in London (28) and at The SSE Arena, Belfast (50). The last time they played Dublin’s Croke Park was in June of 2012, before the band went on a seven-year hiatus.

If you’re in the market for tickets, they will be available from all Ticketmaster outlets and from ticketmaster.ie at 9 am Tuesday morning.
