With it being Christmas, we knew we were bound to see at least one more celebrity engagement before the year was out, and this evening, it was actress and philanthropist Eva Longoria who proved us right.
The Desperate Housewives star got?engaged to longtime boyfriend Jose Antonio Baston this past weekend, and she revealed the happy on Instagram. It’s a gorgeous picture, but we can’t stop staring at that incredible ring! She and Baston, are currently travelling in Dubai for an event on behalf of the Global Gift Foundation, hence the stunning backdrop in the snap.
The couple has been seeing each other since 2013, and Longoria said last year that she was “very happy” with the relationship.??He’s a good dresser,? she told Ellen DeGeneres. ??I always have to step it up. It’s exhausting.?
This will be Longoria’s third marriage; she was previously linked to Ready for Love contestant Ernesto Arguello, and was married to NBA player Tony Parker for three years until a cheating scandal rocked their relationship, subsequently resulting in the end of?their marriage in 2010. She was also briefly married to?actor Tyler Christopher in 2002.
We’ve always been a huge fan of the talented actress, and not just because of her amazing locks (how does her hair always look so perfect?). She won the hearts of everyone when she visited our shores last year, discussing her passion for the Latino community and using her notoriety to make a genuine difference to causes she so deeply supports. “I always knew acting was a means to an end; it wasn’t the end goal. I knew that it was going to be a pathway to allow me to have a bigger platform and a bigger voice?,? she said.
Oh, and she is a big fan of?whisky and Tayto crisps, which?obviously makes us love her even more.
