Do you have a taste for festive food? Here are five Christmas treats you’ll find in our kitchens this winter

Christmas is quickly coming down the tracks and, if you’re anything like us, you’ll be looking forward to some festive indulgence.

Whether you’re providing nibbles at a Christmas party or stocking up the kitchen for the family, we’ve found some delicious, supermarket snacks to satisfy all Christmas cravings.

As part of its finest* range, Tesco Ireland has unveiled a range of food and drinks ahead of the busy Christmas period – and there are some interesting items on the list. We’re talking crisps, wine and more.

Some of our favourite Christmas treats include…

Ham & Spiced Cola Crisps
RRP: €1.50

Is it just us or do these sound weirdly tasty? Gently spiced with a hint of sweetness, these Ham & Spiced Cola hand-cooked crisps are bursting with flavour.

Tesco Low Alcohol Sparkling Rosé Wine 75cl
RRP €4

This refreshing sparkling rosé, made from Spanish Garnacha grapes, is full of ripe strawberry flavours. Using an innovative technology called `spinning cone´ that gently removes the alcohol creates a great tasting drink with less than 0.5% alcohol and is the perfect accompaniment to fruity desserts.

Brie & Cranberry Crisps
RRP: €1.50

Tesco experts work closely with farmers to select potato varieties that give just the right crunch. Each potato is peeled, sliced and fried in small batches under the watchful eye of specially trained fryers. Each batch is stirred gently to allow for the best crisps to be selected before tumbling them carefully in seasoning for a perfectly even coating of festive classic flavours; brie and cranberry.

Salted Caramel Truffle Chocolates
RRP €7.99

Decadent sea salted caramel truffles, coated in smooth Belgian milk chocolate and dusted with a sparkling of gold lustre cocoa powder.

Belgian Chocolate and Clementine Cake

One of a number of alternative dessert centrepieces on offer at Tesco this year is this finest* Belgian Chocolate & Clementine Cake. Made with alternating layers of light orange and chocolate sponge, sandwiched with a zesty clementine coulis, then hand-decorated with luxurious chocolate ganache buttercream, and finished with bronze-lustred Belgian chocolate curls and chocolate rice balls.
