Bear Market Coffee

Bear Market Coffee

We’re the type of ladies who need an extra kick in the mornings and are thanking the coffee gods for the opening of Bear Market Coffee in Blackrock village. Owners Stephen Deasy and Ruth Hussey met while studying architecture and, ever resourceful, they turned their noses to coffee beans when the economy turned rough.?BEAR_MARKET_COFFEE_VAV_architects_02

Bear Market’s steel bars and copper lamps nod to the duo’s design roots but it’s the smooth Arabica and strong Robusta coffee that is rightfully prized here. Bear Market beans are roasted in Ireland and they are passionate about the rich, rounded taste of a good espresso. Not to mention the scrumptious supply of carrot cake baked fresh in Pure Bakery just down the road. Yum!
