Enter Gourmet Food Parlour‘s new Afternoon Tea offering in Skerries.

Afternoon Tea

The recently opened Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP) restaurant in Skerries has just launched a modern Afternoon Tea menu. Located near the seaside, in the picturesque town of Skerries, Co Dublin, it’s the perfect place to escape for food and relaxation.

Led by the Executive Head Chef Michal Mazur, the team developed the new Afternoon Tea menu with a modern twist. It includes locally-sourced ingredients and is presented in a beautifully crafted birdcage-style plate set. It’s truly a feast for the eyes (and your palate).

Savoury bites include the delightful lime and dill cream cheese, Irish smoked salmon and capers on Guinness bread; the Mediterranean-inspired salami, chorizo, basil pesto and sundried tomato served on mouth-watering focaccia bread; and the chicken and parmesan mousse, with garlic aioli, on crispy pancetta.

For those with a sweet tooth, the pastry team created the desserts to complement the savoury choices. The macaroons, which are light-as-air and handcrafted in house, are a standout dish for customers. What’s more, the meringue topped with strawberry mousse and fresh berries is the perfect summer dessert; using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

Good value

Not only is the Afternoon Tea menu made from high quality, local ingredients, but it’s also at an affordable price point. The experience is only €20 per person with tea or coffee included, or €25 per person if you choose to drink some bubbles. What’s more, the €60 ‘deal for two’ comes with a bottle of prosecco.

Lorraine Heskin, who is the CEO and co-owner of Gourmet Food Parlour, said, “We created this menu specifically keeping our local customers in mind; we want to offer them something that is truly unique to the area.

“Whether it’s for a special occasion, a girls’ day out, or just a special treat – this is the perfect menu for the GFP customer. As always, evolution is crucial to us as a business and we strive to continually innovate for our loyal customers.”

This Afternoon Tea menu is available at Gourmet Food Parlour Skerries from Monday-Sunday, 3 pm – 5 pm. Visit gourmetfoodparlour.com for more details or to make a reservation. Advanced booking for the Afternoon Tea at Gourmet Food Parlour Skerries is required.
