Next summer, travel in style.

Leave the bleary eyed queues of grumpy travellers behind and kick back with Aer Lingus? new business class service that was announced this week with a party at the atmospheric IMMA in Kilmainham.

The Aer Lingus service will be launched season on all transatlantic flights in time for the summer and already we’re mentally wearing eye masks and sipping champagne – la Cameron Diaz in The Holiday. Business class seats will transform into 6?6? beds with fabrics from Cork Street’s Botany Weaving lulling you into a transatlantic slumber. You’ll have access to exclusive lounges at JFK and Dublin airports with pre-dining options in Boston and JFK. Feeling peckish on the plan? Pre-packaged pastries will be a thing of the recent past – food consultant Hugo Arnold is introducing a seasonal menu to discerning customers. And the box sets on board are basically the golden age of television at your fingertips – Game of Thrones and True Detective are just some of the dramatic draws. Seriously, how good does that all sound?
