Thursday morning may have been dreary, weather-wise, but that didn’t stop some 200-plus businesswomen making their way to the Marker Hotel for the IMAGE Networking Breakfast in association with Samsung and Boots.

As always, the kitchen at the Marker provided guests with an impressive breakfast buffet spread of fruit skewers and mini pastries. Once moved into the main room, guests were greeted with a seat gift from Trilogy and a blowdry from Di Milo. Three extra lucky ladies received envious looks from their peers when they found they’d also won a mani and pedi at Mink.

Speakers tackling this month’s theme of the Power of Effective Communication included broadcaster Claire Byrne, journalist Kathy Sheridan and Health & Wellness coach Shane Pearson. Despite the early start, the panel of speakers was quick-witted, inspiring and informative ?- all in equal measures! Attendees listened intently as speakers recounted stories from their past and shared pearls of wisdom for future reference.

Twitter was awoken by the buzz of #imagenb as people tweeted their favourite quotes from speakers. One follower was rewarded with a night away in Tankardstown, courtesy of Ireland’s Blue Book.

One last surprise came courtesy of Boots as guests were treated to a consultation from the Liz Earle experts, and one attendee walked away with a Liz Earle hamper full of products ready to pamper her skin to perfection.

Keep an eye here for details of our next event (hint: we’re pretty excited about it!) and check out our snaps from Thursday morning in the gallery above.
