Inspiring young women

There’s never been a more exciting time to be a woman. All over the world, women are standing up, speaking out, and fighting to make the world more equal. They’re making their voices heard, and Irish women are no exception.

Last year, we demanded our right to body autonomy. We said no to sexual abuse and we rallied together in protest against it. We have more women entering politics than ever before, and our female athletes are shining in championships across the globe. We have more women in business, more women involved in the arts, and STEM is no longer a male-only industry.

Here at IMAGE, we want to celebrate that. This year, we’ve teamed up with Tesco Finest* to champion real Irish women who are making a difference in society. We want to honour inspiring women who challenge the status quo – but we need your help.

Woman of the Month

We’re asking you, dear IMAGE reader, to vote for your Woman of the Month. If you know a woman who has achieved something special this month, or whose work has impacted those around her, we want to hear about it. Whether it’s in the world of sports, politics, social activism or the arts, we want to know who she is and why she’s impressed you.

At the end of the year, there’ll be a special event to celebrate our winners from each month.

It gets better
