Two places that promise to cater for your every festive need are Dublin’s premier eateries Fade Street Social and Shelbourne Social, which have dedicated special corporate reservations teams to the Christmas period. Both venues offer different dining rooms and festive set menus, with pre- and post-dinner drinks.

Shelbourne Social
Based in the visually stunning neighbourhood of Ballsbridge in Dublin 4, Shelbourne Social is newly open and offers way more than its very Instagrammable interiors.

With the exquisite attention to detail you’ve come to expect from a Dylan McGrath restaurant, Shelbourne Social doesn’t disappoint when it comes to its perfectly curated Christmas menu. Opening up the restaurant seven days a week in December, Christmas lunch and dinner are both on offer for the week.

Choose from appetising poached salmon with fried chorizo, watercress and celeriac cream for starters, or hen’s eggs with lemon mayo and pressed caviar, and succulent roasted picanha poached in umami spices, or truffle linguine with tempura broccoli, crème fraiche and parmesan. Dessert options are just as mouthwatering, with Christmas spiced rice pudding with ginger ice cream, or light chocolate mousse on dark chocolate sponge, with blackberries and almond custar among them.

For the set dinner options you’re looking at choices of smoked Iberico ham, grated horseradish, Shelbourne mayonnaise, roasted onion hummus with sumac, smoked salmon with grated caviar and cultured crème, chicken liver parfait with pickled grapes, crispy shallot, or pressed cucumber with spiced avocado, herbs and toasted almonds, ll served with our hot curd bread for starters. For mains you’ve a choice of sirloin steak, rack of lamb, monkfish or truffle linguine.

The venue itself has over 100 seats set out over two stunning floors with state-of-the-art interiors. Management promise there will be full festive decor – ideal to get the shot for the ‘gram – a full bar with a wide selection of wines and of course festive cocktails. The experts in the Loft Bar will be happy to whip you up a signature cocktail to your liking for that extra sweet touch.

Fade Street
In the heart of the city centre, Fade Street has been a firm favourite among Dublin’s foodies for eight years. With a proven track record in rockin’ Christmas parties, 2019 promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Why not kick off in style with a festive cocktail on the Rooftop Terrace – perfect for that selfie lighting – where there is also a full bar and interiors to swoon over.
